A new technological advance in water ionizers is the use of Mesh Plates. The image below shows the two different types of plates used.

The MESH Plate on the top is the one found in the LIFE 7500 while the one on the bottom is the one found in the Tyent. As can be seen, the LIFE 7500 MESH Technology has more surface area than the Tyent. Due to the larger surface area, this would also mean a larger point of electrolysis.
